Yesterday was the first day of a three day plein air event, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Environmental Learning Center and the Cultural Council of Indian River. Above is my painting of the Laura Riding Jackson Historic Home...well the porch. I thought I was just feeling sick from too much sun, not enough water, but today it is evident I have a bug. Set up on day two by the river in the shade but had to leave. Hopefully tommorrow will be better.
Now that is one gorgeous and oh so inviting porch! What a place to just sit and read with the soft breezes soughing through the grass, trees, and weeds!
